Kuwait Defeats Uzbekistanآ's Nasaf (2-1) In AFC Champions League 2

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC defeated Uzbekistanآ's Nasaf 2-1 on Wednesday in the fifth round of Group D matches in the AFC Champions League 2.
Nasaf took the lead through Zoran Marusic in the 43rd minute of the first half, but Kuwait SC equalized through a penalty kick scored by Yahya Jabran in the 47th minute, while Amr Abdel Fattah scored the second goal in the 55th minute.
Kuwait SC is in third place with five points, while Nasaf remains in fourth place with four points.
Al-Hussein Irbid of Jordan leads the group with nine points, while Shabab Al-Ahli comes in second place with seven points. The first and second-place teams qualify for the round of 16 of the tournament. (end)
