Health Min. Checks On Students Who Got Ill After Visiting Park

KUWAIT, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi and the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Nader Al-Jalal on Thursday visited a number female students who had suffered a health setback after going to an entertainment park in the country.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement that 18 of the ill students had been admitted at Al-Sabah, Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals, adding that their condition was stable. However, they would remain under medical observation for some time to ensure full recovery.
The MoH and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition are pondering possible causes of the students' illness. (end)
