Aslanbayli also pointed out that working hand in hand with SOCAR on the green energy transition is bearing fruit.

Azerbaijan has initiated the signing of the Declaration on Methane during the upcoming COP29, as well as launched an initiative to reduce methane emissions in food production.

To recall, last week, the IEA and the COP29 Chairmanship held a high-level event on methane on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York.
