Updated Mygov Platform Simplifies Documentation Process - Deputy Chairman

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. The updated
"mygov" platform has significantly streamlined the process of
documenting key life events, Deputy Chairman of the Innovation and
Digital Development Agency of Azerbaijan (IDDA) Rashad Khaligov
stated during the presentation of the updated e-government
platform, Trend
reports.
“The updated version of the platform has greatly simplified
documenting important life events such as marriage, births, and the
death of close relatives. Marriage documents can now be submitted
digitally, newborn registrations are available online, and death
notifications can also be processed through the platform.
The 'my data' section of the 'mygov' app stores over 40
different types of information, including digital versions of
documents like identity cards, marriage, birth, and death
certificates. Users can share these documents and information in QR
code or PDF formats.
Additionally, the app allows tracking the history of data
exchanges, showing when and with which institutions information was
shared. It also provides options for managing permissions for
access to personal data requested by various government agencies,”
Khaligov stated.
The Deputy Chairman also highlighted other innovations,
including an improved search system, notification module, and
application submission function, which enable citizens to interact
with government services more quickly and transparently.
“Other available services on the platform include a list of
electric vehicle charging stations, changes to utility subscriber
codes, a pension calculator, and the option to schedule
appointments with local authorities,” he added.
