Turkmen President Arrives In Astana For Key Central Asia-Germany Summit

Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdymukhammedov has arrived in Astana to attend the second meeting of the "Central Asia + Germany" summit with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Trend reports citing Turkmenistan's official press service.

According to the report, the visit underscores Turkmenistan's dedication to international dialogue and regional cooperation.

President Berdymukhammedov was welcomed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and other senior officials.

The Central Asia-Germany Summit (5+1) will be held on September 17, focusing on global development issues and strengthening mutual trust. The inaugural summit in Berlin last year led to the signing of a strategic regional partnership program.
