Minister Spells Kick-Off Date For Maiden Academic Year At Azerbaijan's Karabakh University

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. The enrollment
process for students at Azerbaijan's Karabakh University will begin
on September 15-16, Minister of Science and Education Emin
Amrullayev announced, Trend reports.
"Since this is the university's first academic year, the first
week will be an orientation period. Classes will officially start
on September 23. This practice will also be adopted at the
Turkish-Azerbaijani University," Amrullayev told the media.
Amrullayev also mentioned that the student registration is in
the home stretch thanks to some extra scholarships.
"Registration for 99 percent of students has been completed,
with no refusals. Each student will receive a scholarship.
Additional scholarships ranging from 100 to 150 manats ($58 to $88)
will be provided once the academic year begins. Additionally, some
private companies have joined the initiative to offer extra
scholarships to students," he added.
