Water, Sun, Wind - Green Energy Potential In Azerbaijan's Gabala
(MENAFN- Trend News Agency)
BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. A presentation
of three 150 kWh solar power plants took place at a factory in
Azerbaijan's Gabala district a few days ago, Trend
reports.
This is a clear demonstration of the accelerated transition to
green energy not only in the capital, Baku, but also in other
regions of Azerbaijan.
Various initiatives and projects in the field of green energy
are being implemented in Gabala. The region's geographical
conditions and natural resources make it well-suited for the
production of renewable energy, including solar, wind, and hydro
energy.
The potential for solar energy utilization in this area is quite
high. Installing solar panels can effectively harness solar energy,
while wind turbines will contribute to the use of wind energy.
Additionally, Gabala has the potential for hydroelectric energy
production due to its abundant water resources.
These initiatives will contribute to the region's economic
development and help protect the environment. Key factors for
advancing green energy in Azerbaijan include public-private sector
collaboration, investment, and technology transfer.
