(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. The Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan has hosted an event dedicated to Türkiye's Victory Day, Trend reports.

The event commenced with the anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. A moment of silence followed, honoring the memory of Azerbaijani and Turkish martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci read a letter from President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov attended the event as a guest of honor. The gathering also included deputies from the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani parliament, representatives from Turkish companies operating in Azerbaijan, and notable Azerbaijani public figures.
