Delegation Of Foreign Travelers Visits Azerbaijan's Lachin (PHOTO) (UPDATE)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) LACHIN, Azerbaijan, July 26. Travelers from all over the world who arrived in Azerbaijan while visiting the liberated territories have become closely acquainted with Lachin city, Trend 's Karabakh bureau reports.

The trip of travelers to the liberated territories, led by Charles Veley, founder of the US MTP (Most Traveled People) club, one of the four largest travel clubs in the world, continues.

According to the travel itinerary, the guests arrived from Kalbajar in Lachin, where they got acquainted with the ongoing construction work.

They were informed that currently, along with Lachin city, the residents of Zabukh and Sus villages in the Lachin district have returned to their homeland.

It was noted that all necessary living conditions have been created in Lachin city for 534 families (1,971 people), in Zabukh for 217 families (823 people), and in Sus for 59 families (215 people).

The travelers were also provided with information about important work being carried out in the district.

The guests were told about the history of the city and the destruction it suffered during the occupation.

The travelers got acquainted with the results of restoration work carried out on the territory of Lachin.

The delegation is headed by Charles Veley, whose name was included in the top 10 list of world travelers, and international travelers from 13 countries (US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Poland, Hungary, and others) joined the trip.

MTP (Most Traveled People) club members have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur three times before; this is the 4th visit of its members to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation. About 400 international travelers in large groups from nearly 50 countries have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur 10 times in the four years since the second Karabakh war. Today's trip is the 11th.
