Kabul Slams Israeli Attack On Yemen Port

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has condemned Israeli forces' airstrikes on Yemen's Hodeidah port.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), wrote on his X handle all victims of the attack were civilians.

He said:“The MoFA strongly condemns the attack by the Zionist Regime on Hodeidah port in the republic of Yemen. The victims were all civilians.”

The ministry called on international organisations and influential countries to stop the crimes of Israeli forces in Gaza and the region.

At least three people were killed and 87 others wounded in the Israeli strikes on port on Saturday night.

According to Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV, the Israeli attack targeted oil storage facilities and a power plant, igniting a fire.

The news outlet cited health officials as saying the air raids resulted in casualties, including fatalities, without specifying a number.
