SAN. FRANCISCO - Terra Carmichael has joined Lyft as chief communications officer. Carmichael joins after four-plus years at Stock X, where she served as the online marketplace's first CCO. She previously was VP of global communications at Eventbrite, where she bult the company's comms program.
NEW YORK - Rema Vasan has assumed an expanded role at TikTok, leading both North America business marketing and global gaming business marketing. Vasan will be collaborating with and showcasing partner and client work across the gaming industry and across verticals in North America. Vasan joined TikTok roughly two years ago from Marina Maher Communications where she served as global president.
NEW YORK - Jeana Tahnk
has joined Dataminr as VP of communications. Tahnk will lead communications, content, and social media. She joins Dataminr from Okta, where she held the same role and was responsible for brand reputation, including business critical and crisis communications, executive communications, thought leadership, employee communications, and more. She joined Okta in 2021 by way of its acquisition of Auth0, where she was head of communications.
