This ambitious endeavor, announced by Herat's provincial government spokesperson Nisar Ahmad Elyas on Monday, aims to bolster local infrastructure and agricultural capabilities across key districts, including Anjel, Guzara, and Zendajan.
The projects encompass a diverse range of initiatives, including the construction of essential water reservoir dams, roads, protective walls, water canals, and wells. These developments not only promise to enhance local connectivity and access to vital resources but also underscore a strategic effort to improve agricultural productivity and water management in the region.
According to Elyas, the implementation of these projects has already yielded substantial benefits for the local community, creating employment opportunities for approximately 6,000 villagers.
