(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Azerbaijani DefenseMinister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has paid an official visitto Jordan, Trend reports referringto the Defense Ministry.
During his visit, Hasanov met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefsof Staff Committee of the Jordanian Armed Forces Major GeneralYousef Huneiti.
Cooperation in the military, and military-technical sphere, aswell as other issues of mutual interest, were discussed at theenlarged meeting.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was signed oncooperation in defense.
