(MENAFN) The South African ambassador informed BRICS, Anil Sooklal, has discharged accusations that the bloc is challenging with Western association’s such as the G7, depicting such declarations as an “unfortunate narrative.”

Talking earlier during this week at the BRICS Inward Buying and Investment Business Forum in Johannesburg, the politician persisted that it is not right to name the assembly as “anti-West.”
Sooklal stated that “what we do seek is to advance the agenda of the Global South and to build a more inclusive, representative, just, fair global architecture.”

The asset forum is an ancestor to the chief BRICS presidents` summit, which is going to also happen in Johannesburg later this month.

In a meeting with a news agency, South Africa’s trade as well as industry deputy minister, Fikile Majola, advertised BRICS as an important assembly as well as a powerful power for alteration.
