Egypt Pm Arrives In Amman For Joint Higher Committee Session


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly arrived in Amman on Sunday evening.

Leading a ministerial delegation,
Madbouly
will head his country's delegation at the 31st session of the Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, which will be held on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh.

Upon his arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, the Egyptian prime minister was welcomed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and the Minister of Labour, Yousef Al Shamali, as well as the Governor of Amman, Yasser Al Adwan, and several other officials.

The Egyptian prime minister was accompanied by the Egyptian ministers of electricity and renewable energy, petroleum and mineral resources, health and population, planning and economic development, international cooperation, transport, trade, industry and labour, among other officials.

The agenda of the committee includes several issues aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, notably in the area of economic cooperation, maximising the use of available opportunities and enhancing coordination on matters of mutual interest.

The Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee is characterised by its regular meetings, which reflect the joint commitment to develop various areas of cooperation between the two countries, as well as cooperation within the trilateral framework, including Iraq, and the quadrilateral partnership, including the UAE and Bahrain, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
