West African representatives to encounter revolutions chiefs in Niger
(MENAFN) The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) posted an allocation to Niger on Wednesday to encounter with army chiefs who planned a revolution that overthrew Leader Mohamed Bazoum the previous week.
The task is being driven by Nigeria’s previous army leader, Abdulsalami Abubakar, as the domestic Committee of Chiefs of Defense Staff (CCDS) encounter in Abuja to debate over the condition in Niamey.
ECOWAS has located economic as well as financial restrictions on associate-district Niger and cautioned to permit the utilization of strength if the putsch chiefs were unsuccessful to restore the diplomatically chosen Bazoum within a week of this previous Sunday.
However, talking at the launching of the three-day CCDS conference on Wednesday, Abdel-Fatau Musah, ECOWAS representative for diplomatic relations, peace as well as safety, stated that going back to power to upturn the revolution would only be regarded as a last choice.
