Nepalese Civil Aviation: Helicopter Carrying Six People On Board Out Of Contact


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW DELHI, July 11 (KUNA) -- Nepalese Civil Aviation authorities said on Tuesday that a helicopter carrying six people on board has been out of contact soon after take off.
The Kathmandu Post said quoting Tribhuvan International Airport General Manager Pratap Babu Tiwari that Manang Air helicopter 9N-AMV with six people on board went missing after 15 minutes of take off.
Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul said that the chopper had taken off from Surki in Solukhumbu for Kathmandu at 9:45 am Local Time. On board the missing aircraft are six people, including Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung. (end) atk.aa
