Ukraine's Defense Forces Shoot Down Three Missiles, Nine Shahed Drones Overnight

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's defense forces destroyed three Kalibr cruise missiles and nine Shahed-136/131 attack drones overnight. The Ukrainian Air Force said this in a telegram post , according to Ukrinform.
On the night of June 13 to June 14, Russian troops launched a missile attack on military and infrastructure facilities in Ukraine with air and sea-based cruise missiles, as well as attack drones.
From the Black Sea area, the enemy fired four Kalibr cruise missiles at the Odesa region. Three missiles were shot down, and one hit a civilian object.
From the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov, the Russians launched ten Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones in the southeast direction. Nine of them were shot down.
From the Rostov region, the invaders fired six Kh-22 air-based cruise missiles from four Tu-22-M3 long-range bombers. The attack was launched in the Donetsk region. The consequences are being clarified.
"In general, the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 12 air targets during this night attack: three Kalibr cruise missiles and nine Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack drones," the report said.
