Imran Khan Accused In A Senior Lawyer Murder Case


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been accused of having involvement in the killing of a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Khan calling the accusation“foolish”.

Unknown gunmen shot Lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar to death while he was on his way to the Balochistan High Court Complex in Quetta on Tuesday. Shar was shot more than ten times in his car and died instantly, according to police officials.

Following the anonymous killing, the son of the senior lawyer of the Supreme Court of Pakistan accused Imran Khan former Prime Minister of Pakistan of having involvement in his father's murder.

According to international media, Sirajuddin, the senior son of lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar, has formally filed a complaint against Imran Khan, accusing him of his father's murder.

Sirajuddin reiterated that his father was killed after he requested Pakistan Supreme Court to punish Imran Khan for the crime of national treason.

In response to the accusation of the murder of the lawyer, PTI Chief Imran Khan in a short video rejected the allegations and described it as a“foolish case”.

This comes as the killed lawyer's son has repeatedly told the media that his father was threatened with death several times after requesting the trial of Imran Khan for the crime of national treason.

Meanwhile, police has not arrested anyone involved in the murder of a supreme court lawyer as investigations are underway according to official sources.
