Invaders Shell Luhansk Region With Aircraft And Artillery

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Russian invaders shelled populated settlements of Luhansk region with artillery and aircraft.

"The Russians attacked again the area of Novoselivske and Bilohorivka – all their attempts turned out to be fruitless. The enemy suffers heavy losses and still tries to advance. The defense forces of Ukraine are exhausting the enemy physically and psychologically," the Luhansk Regional Military Administration posted on facebook .

The Russians hit Serhiyivka and Bilohorivka with aircraft. Artillery fire was opened in the direction of Novoselivka, Makiyivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka, added Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

The Russians are in a hurry to hold elections in Luhansk region. They have formed almost all precinct election commissions for the vote in September.

"For the so-called first elections in 'LPR' which are to be held in September, 95% of precinct election commissions have already been formed, although the Russian Federation has not yet made security decisions on holding the elections. In particular, 436 precinct election commissions were formed. A certain number of them are located in towns without electricity and water supply. The occupiers have been in no hurry to restore supply for a year – the election is the most important thing," the Administration emphasized.

As reported, Russia is considering a proposal to introduce a six-day work week in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, expecting that this should solve the economic needs of the war.
