(MENAFN) Ukrainian recruits have recently completed a training course on theory and practical actions at the platoon level as part of basic military training in Great Britain. The First Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, announced this on Telegram and published relevant photos of the recruits participating in the training.
According to Pavliuk, the new recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine underwent training on theory and practical actions in patrol, defense, and attack as part of their basic combined military training in Great Britain. The training course was conducted by instructors from the 5th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment of the 1st Brigade of the Land Forces of the Australian Defense Forces.
The completion of this training course is an essential step in the preparation of Ukrainian recruits for their role in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate effectively at the platoon level in various military scenarios.
In addition to this training, a second group of Ukrainian artillerymen is completing a training session to master the 155-mm AS90 self-propelled artillery weapon on British soil. This training is crucial in enhancing the Ukrainian Armed Forces' capabilities in the field of artillery, providing them with the latest techniques and tactics to operate effectively in various combat situations.
The training courses in Great Britain are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and improve their readiness to defend their country against any potential threat.
