(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Minister of Government Communications Faisal Shboul on Monday attended a ceremony held by the Catholic Centre for Studies and Media (CCSM) on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment and the 20th anniversary of launching the Abouna website.At the beginning of the ceremony, Shboul welcomed Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Pierbattista Pizzaballa, and stressed the need to resort to moderation in facing growing negative phenomena emerging after technological advancements, such as hate speech, rumours and attacks on human dignity.
The minister also said that Jordan has always carried a message of Arab unity and justice for Arab causes, mainly the Palestinian issue, referring to the suffering of Palestinians over decades as a result of occupation, injustice and denial of their rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
