Iran's coal concentrate production rises 20 percent in 9 months YoY


(MENAFN) Output of coal concentrate in Iran jumped 20 percent in the opening nine months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-Decemebr 21, 2022), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, as shown by the figures issued by Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry.

The ministry’s figures recorded the nation’s nine-month coal concentrate production at 1.3 million tons.

Because of the special circumstances of coal mines in Iran, these mines are topic to tax exemption as well as any miners who need mining machinery can use the services and tax exemption in this industry to apply their needed machinery.

The nation’s median yearly coal concentrate output is nearly 1.5 million tons, whereas the nation’s present request has surpassed two million tons.

Presently, Iran’s coal industry supplies employment for 17,000 people, on the other hand, the volume of the nation’s coal mines is much higher than this number, and the improvement of the mining industry and modernization ventures can play an impactful role in surging employment in this industry.
