Isfahan province records 16 percent rise in shipments YoY


(MENAFN) The worth of shipment from Isfahan province saw a surge of 16 percent in the opening nine months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2022), in contrast with the same span of time in the last year, the director-general of the province’s customs department declared.

Rasoul Kouhestani-Pajouh asserted that 1.749 million tons of goods valued at USD1.144 billion have been shipped from the district in the nine-month time span, with ten percent expansion in terms mass on a year on year basis.

The representative stated that 753 types of products were shipped to 89 nations from the province in the opening nine months of the present Iranian calendar year.

He stated that the following iron and cast-iron outputs, steel outputs, petrochemical outputs, dairy outputs, machine and handwoven carpets as the major shipped items, and the following nations Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, in addition to Armenia as the main shipment destinations.
