Tax income increases more than 11 percent in 9 months YoY


(MENAFN) Iran’s tax revenues throughout the initial nine months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2022) surged by 11.8 percent in comparison with the same span of time in the prior year, Tasnim news agency mentioned in report quoting the Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) figures.

As shown by the mentioned figures, INTA collected 3.48 quadrillion rials (nearly USD10 billion) of taxes throughout the nine-month time span of this year, whereas the number stood at 3.11 quadrillion rials (around USD8.16 billion) in the same period of the last year.

According to the INTA figures, of the collected taxes, 2.19 quadrillion rials (around USD5.74 billion) was associated to direct taxes as well as 1.28 quadrillion rials (nearly USD3.36 billion) was the stake of tax on goods and services.

INTA also was capable to accumulate 377 trillion rials (around USD989.6 million) of taxes in the ninth Iranian calendar month of Azar (November 22-December 21, 2022).
