Iranian FM seeks to use all legal actions to penalize all accountable for Gen. Soleimani assassination

(MENAFN) Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stated that the administration is looking to use all legal, political, as well as diplomatic paths to hold accountable all those responsible for the murder of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the nation’s highest-level counterterrorism ruler.

In a television meeting on the occasion of General Soleimani's third martyrdom anniversary, Amir Abdollahian pointed out that “all required precautions have been taken.”

Iran's top official stated that “In addition to using all possible legal avenues, we have recognized and registered the U.S. administration's role in the assassination through an official letter, and we will pursue our complaint along its own natural course.”

“Sadly, both Americans and other Western countries are attempting to impede and stonewall the legal follow-up of the issue,” Amir Abdollahian went further on.

He additionally stated that “The Islamic Republic's hands are not tied,” noting that on top of that legal action, the country is also chasing several movements versus those accused for the murder of General Soleimani.
