Saudi Crown Prince, Chinese Pres. Hold Official Talks


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- crown prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman and Chinese President Xi Jinping held on Thursday official rounds of talks between two nations to seek cooperation and collaboration on numerous fields.
The two leaders had discuss ways to enhance relations and also touched on recent regional and international developments as well as issues of mutual interest.
Prince Mohammad and President Xi were witness to various agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) including an alignment plan between the Saudi Vision 2030 and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
A MoU on hydrogen energy, a cooperation agreement within the judiciary field, and a MoU on teaching the Chinese language was also signed during the encounter.
Bolstering cooperation within direct investment and activating a MoU within the domain of housing were also agreed upon.
The Chinese President is on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he and the accompanying delegation would be partaking in the Saudi-Chinese summit, the GCC-China Cooperation and Development Summit, and the Arab-Chinese Cooperation and Development Summit. (pickup previous)
