Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul starts Thursday with rises


(MENAFN) Türkiye's main share index started at 3,519.85 points on Thursday, surging 1.02 percent, or 35.43 points, from the prior end.

The US dollar/Turkish lira trading level was declined to 18.5800 at 09.47 AM regional time (0647GMT), from 18.5819 at the prior end.

The euro/Turkish lira selling price was at 18.5119, against 18.3243, whereas a British pound exchanged for 20.9189 Turkish liras, falling from 21.1220.

Oil prices ended with mixed figures on Thursday due to provision doubts following OPEC+ producers’ agreement to reduce day to day oil output by 2 million barrels.

International benchmark Brent crude sold at USD93.22 per barrel at 10.01 AM regional time (0701 GMT) for a 0.16 percent fall from the ending price of USD93.37 per barrel in the prior exchange session.

American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI), selling at USD87.52 a barrel at the same time, declined 0.27 percent after the prior session finished at USD87.76 per barrel.
