Dubai Police, Congolese Counterpart Discuss Cooperation In Security Domains

DUBAI, 18th August, 2022 (WAM) -- Lieutenant General Dieudonne Amuli Bahigwa, Police Commissioner-General of Congo National Police, has recently visited the Dubai Police General HQ, where he was received by Major General Pilot Ahmad Muhammad bin Thani, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Major General bin Thani welcomed Lt. General Bahigwa and the accompanying delegation, and highlighted the importance of this visit to enhance cooperation and coordination between both parties, and the exchange of experiences and information that mutually benefit both bodies.
Major General bin Thani underscored Dubai Police's keenness to cement cooperation and coordination with its international counterparts and build strategic partnerships in various sectors.
The Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police accompanied the Congolese delegation to the Command and Control Centre, where they were briefed about the latest services and initiatives that enhance security and safety in the emirate, as well as the centre's equipment and latest additions such as the 3D map that covers Dubai and the patrols dispatching system that ensures swift and efficient response to reports and emergency calls.
Lt. General Bahigwa and his accompanying delegation visited the Dubai Smart Police Station (SPS) in the La Mer area in Dubai, where officers on duty explained the self-service station that enables customers to complete transactions smoothly without visiting the traditional police stations or waiting in queues.
At the end of the visit, Major General bin Thani presented Lt. General Bahigwa and the accompanying delegation with the force's commemorative shield.
