Russian Rockets Hit Zaporizhzhia Last Night


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Last night the Russian military launched a rocket attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia. Four enemy projectiles hit an infrastructure facility.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Starukh on Telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night, around 03:00 a.m., the enemy launched a rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia from Vasylivka District. According to the preliminary data, [Russian] occupiers used multiple launch rocket systems. Four projectiles hit an infrastructure facility in Shevchenkivskyi District,” Starukh wrote.

In his words, the infrastructure object was slightly damaged.

A reminder that, as Russian troops shelled a dormitory in Kharkiv's Saltivskyi District in the evening of August 17, 2022, seven civilians were killed and 16 injured.
