Amman, Aug 10 (Petra) -- The police have arrested nine men in a university scuffle in the Tafilah governorate in southern Jordan that saw one of the men involved in the quarrel fire a pistol.
The media department of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a group scuffle broke out on a university campus in Tafilah, during which shots were fired in the air by one of the men involved in the fight.
It added that the police had referred those involved in the quarrel to a public prosecutor, who placed all nine in a correctional and rehabilitation centre.
