Dubai : Times Square Center, Dubai's favourite family destination, is preparing for a kid-centric last month of summer with plastic model building OTAKU ME exhibition and a Back-to-School pop up with product brand Citron, both offering engaging activities, competitions and giveaways to take home. Here are few things you can do this summer at Times Square Center:
BUILD, PLAY AND CREATE WITH OTAKU ME
OTAKU ME has prepared special activations throughout August and until the 11th September 2022 across the Ground Floor of the mall. From 2pm – 6pm, all gamers, hobbyists and enthusiasts can roam freely and enjoy the Gundam build experience and painting challenge that help introduce beginners to start customization with just a paint marker. A 'Gundam' is a Japanese metaseries of anime (animated adult cartoon) which features giant robots or mecha called“Mobile Suits”. All participants have a chance to enter the paint a Gundam challenge with their build experience kits.
The mall will be split into two sections. Section 'A' will be the main Build Experience which tackles hands-on activities on building and painting a Gunpla – a Japanese plastic-model character with OTAKU ME's experts. Section 'B' – known as the Gunpla Exhibit will be an a Gundam educational exhibit, showcasing all the different types, series, scales or sizes and many more that the hobby of model kit building offers . There will be interactive screens and displays that will be showcasing information about Gunpla and its history.
