Death of 3 people in blasts in Russia frontier, extensive property damage

(MENAFN) Based on the regional governor, there were at least three fatalities and extensive property damage in the Russian city of Belgorod, which is close to the Ukrainian frontier.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the Telegram messaging app that at least 11 apartment complexes and 39 individual homes were damaged, including five that were completely demolished.

Gladkov had declared that the " incident " was being investigation and that " Presumably, the air defense system worked.” On the other hand, according to Gladkov, a 10-year-old child was among the two hospitalized and at least four injured persons.

The reports could not be independently confirmed by Reuters. Ukraine did not immediately respond to the claims. Moreover, the administrative hub of the Belgorod area is Belgorod, a city of almost 400,000 people located about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of the Ukrainian frontier.

Numerous allegations of assaults on Belgorod and other neighboring districts of Ukraine have surfaced since Russia began its invasion on February 24. Moscow has blamed Kiev for the attacks.
