(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Today, Russian invaders have used phosphorous munitions in the town of Marinka, Donetsk region.
'The Russians used phosphorous munitions again – today in Marinka. Dozens of fires were detected in the town, they were put out by State Emergency Service staff,' Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Telegram and published the relevant photos.
Heorhiyivka, Novokalynove, and Ocheretyne also came under fire. Several houses were damaged, no civilian casualties were reported.
Avdiivka was cut off power a result of the shelling, Kyrylenko added.
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
