The evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens both by charter flights
and buses from Ukraine due to the situation in the country through
the territory of neighboring states continues, Azerbaijan's Foreign
Ministry told Trend .
According to the ministry, so far, over 7,500 citizens have been
evacuated to Azerbaijan (more than 4,500 – by road transport, and
nearly 3,000 – by charter flights).
Azerbaijani government has organized 15 charter flights from
Romania's Bucharest and Iasi cities, as well as Poland's Katowice
city. First of all, women, children, the elderly, people with
health problems were evacuated.
