Qatar - PHCC launches second phase of plan to resume services at health centers

Doha: The Primary health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced the implementation of the second phase of a plan to resume the regular services in its health centers within the framework of a three-phase implementation plan outlined between February and April 2022.

The second phase of the plan will begin today (Tuesday), March 1, 2022, when all PHCC Health Centers will provide face-to-face consultations at a capacity of 75% across all services, such as the family medicine model, general and specialized dental services, and all other specialized services.

The Primary health care Corporation will continue to provide virtual consultations, according to the patient's preference, while the Rawdat Al Khail Health Center will continue to operate as a health center dedicated to the (Covid-19) virus.

Drive-through swabbing services will also continue to be provided in the primary health care corporation health centers during the evening period from 4 pm to 11 pm seven days a week, while the Lusail Center for Examination and Vaccination will be closed.

The Primary Health Care Corporation is taking strict preventive measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure safety. These measures include smart scheduling of appointments, use of personal protective equipment, social distancing, and regular virus checks for all workers and employees, as well as strict hygiene and disinfection protocols.

PHCC is committed to providing high-quality, integrated health services characterized by easy access to ensure the health and safety of society, while adhering to all preventive and precautionary measures, and in order to support national efforts to combat the Corona pandemic and protect the population.

The first phase, that was implemented on February 1, 2022, witnessed great success, according to the Primary Care Corporation, as the affiliated health centers provided face-to-face consultations at a capacity of 50 percent across all services.
