MENA proceeds for gaming industry hike 15pct in 2021

(MENAFN) Consultancy RedSeer issued a new statement saying, proceeds in the gaming industry in the MENA region increased 15 percent on an annual basis to USD6.5 billion in the past year and is one of the greatest worldwide.

It further noted, they are predicted to rise even higher as companies in the industry effectively consider consumer preferences.

RedSeer stated, the MENA region – while it makes up a small portion of the USD176 billion of the general worldwide income – is estimated to turn into the development’s drive for the sector in the short to medium term, as the UAE and Saudi Arabia are between the most enticing nations in the area.

It noted, “Companies have witnessed an increase in active and paying users, which may be attributed to both new users and those who had previously left and returned to these platforms.”

“Furthermore, gaming platforms have enabled players to socialise and network with friends and co-workers from the comfort and security of their own homes,” said RedSeer.
