Jordan - JAF holds military funeral for martyr Captain Muhammad Yassin Khdeirat

Amman, Jan. 16 (Petra) -- The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Sunday buried martyr Captain Muhammad Yassin Khdeirat, a fallen JAF soldier who died while carrying out his official duty at dawn today on the northeastern borders.
Following the Salat al-Janazah (funeral prayer) performed for martyr at the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque / Deir As-Sana'a town in the northern Governorate of Irbid, a military ceremony took place for the martyr, during which he was transferred to his final resting place, wrapped in the Jordanian flag, and carried on the shoulders of his comrades in arms. He was buried in the town's cemetery, and a wreath was laid at the tomb of the martyr.
Assistant JAF Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Administration and Manpower, Brigadier General Hassan Abu Annab, as the JAF General Command representative, a number of JAF and security bodies senior officers and citizens in Irbid, attended the funeral.
Abu Annab presented the Jordanian flag to the martyr's family.
