Qatar - It is time to reiterate loyalty: Senior health officials

Doha: On the occasion of the Qatar National Day (QND), senior officials in the health sector and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) have emphasized that it is time to reiterate loyalty and belonging to the country Qatar.

They also congratulated Qatar's leadership, including Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Father Amir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, and the people of Qatar wishing them all many happy and prosperous returns of the day.


Dr. Abdullatif Al Khal

Dr. Abdullatif Al Khal, HMC's Deputy Chief Medical Officer, stated that Qatar National Day is a special occasion for Qataris, who reiterate their loyalty and belonging to their beloved Qatar.“With each passing day our beloved Qatar witnesses great achievements and makes big strides in development that underpin the pillars of contemporary Qatar building on the foundations laid by the late sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammad bin Thani, may his soul rest in peace, who sponsored and nurtured the growth of the country. For decades, our wise leadership has been inspired by the noble values, firm belief in our religion, and rich heritage, in promoting the development of Qatar,” he said. 


Ali Abdullah Al Janahi

In his message, Ali Abdullah Al Janahi, HMC's Acting Chief Medical Officer and Chief of HMC Tertiary Hospitals Group, stated that as QND is marked, the country is moving forward steadily and confidently towards achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and fulfilling the aspirations of the Qatari people for progress, prosperity, development and stability.


Dr. Yousuf Al Maslamani

Dr. Yousuf Al Maslamani, Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital, said that Qatar is proceeding with steady and confident steps towards building a comprehensive renaissance according to the foundations of building a modern state.“With the remarkable development of the healthcare sector in Qatar year by year, HMC continues the development journey since more than 40 years ago according to a planned strategy to improve the quality of provided healthcare. The past years witnessed a significant advancement across HMC hospital network to provide an unexpected number of diagnosis and treatment for patients while succeeding in expanding the hospital capacity and enhancing the quality of provided healthcare,” said Dr. Al Maslamni. 


Nasser Saeed Al Naimi

Nasser Saeed Al Naimi, Deputy Chief Quality Officer, Director of Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, said that Qatar National Day is an important occasion to highlight the achievements of Qatar in all fields under the wise leadership of H H the Amir and to look forward to the future that holds meanings of determination and insistence to build the nation and to add more gains, achievements and development.

Fatima Haider, HMC Chief Human Resources Officer, stressed that Qatar National Day renews the determination of each citizen to do everything he can for the sake of the country and its progress. 

“The National Day is an occasion dear to the heart of all Qataris, which consolidate loyalty to the state and renew allegiance to the wise leadership of H H the Amir,” she said.


Dr. Hanadi Khamis Al Hamad

Dr. Hanadi Khamis Al Hamad, Medical Director of Rumailah Hospital and Qatar Rehabilitation Institute and Chairperson for the Department of Geriatrics and Long-Term Care, said that the slogan for Qatar National Day 2021“Ancestral Meadows: A Matter of Trust” is the truest expression of the extent of efforts and determination to build made by Qataris under the banner of their righteous leaders throughout history to build this country and preserve his dignity and stability.

“The celebration of the National Day annually is considered an occasion dear to every citizen, through which he seeks to work on increasing Qatar's balance of achievements by exerting efforts and working with both citizens and residents. It's also an opportunity to renew loyalty to this dear country,” he added.


Dr. Enas Al Kuwari

Dr. Enas Al Kuwari, Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at HMC, said:“Qatar makes a new history every year as it celebrates its National Day to commemorate the anniversary of the founding of the state. The achievements made by the people of Qatar in the various sectors make us feel very proud on this glorious day.”

Dr. Abdulla Al Ansari, HMC's Chief Medical Officer, said that celebrating Qatar National Day is an opportunity for the people of Qatar to pay tribute to their generous country and to express their gratitude and loyalty to their homeland and recognise the blessings bestowed upon all Qatari generations.“As we Celebrate Qatar National Day, it is important to remind everyone that all countries of the world are still facing the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences on the health of individuals. Qatar's health sector will continue its successful efforts to confront the pandemic, which helped Qatar reduce the number of daily infections and have one of the lowest rates of Covid-19 related deaths in the world,” he added.

Ali Al Khater, Chair of the Supreme Healthcare Communications Committee at the Ministry of Public Health and Chief Communications Officer at HMC, stated that Qatar National Day is a special occasion for Qataris, as on this day the loyalty and belonging to our beloved Qatar is reiterated.“This country has witnessed a remarkable growth and development since it was founded by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammad bin Thani, may his soul rest in peace, who nurtured the growth of the country.” 

“Qataris and residents alike take pride in Qatar National Day and express their loyalty and gratitude to this country and its rational leadership.
