Jordan - King observes field testing of defence systems developed by JODDB

AMMAN — his majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab army (JAF), on Monday in Ghabawi, observed a field testing of defence systems developed by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB).

King Abdullah listened to a briefing by JODDB Director Brig. Gen. Ayman Al Batran, who said defence systems and industries in Jordan are constantly evolving, with the aim of serving the various JAF formations and units, and enhancing their defence capabilities, according to a Royal Court statement.

JODDB operates under the umbrella of the JAF, and is concerned with research and development, with the aim of providing optimal solutions in the defence field and equipping the armed forces with modern technology.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti attended the briefing.
