Qatar - Inauguration of Mexican Corner for Culture and Arts at Katara

General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti inaugurated yesterday the Mexican Corner in the courtyard of Building 47, in the presence of the Ambassador of Mexico to Qatar Graciela Gomez Garcia, a number of Their Excellencies Ambassadors and Heads of diplomatic missions. On this occasion, Al Sulaiti said that Katara seeks, through this cultural art project, to celebrate art and artists from all countries and present distinctive pieces of art with civilized meanings that link societies to each other and build bridges of communication between them.
The Cultural Village hosted the Turkish Corner in 2019, and in 2020 the Cuban Corner, he added.
For her part, the Ambassador of Mexico expressed her happiness with this event, noting that these artistic projects would increase the strong relations between the two countries, and praised the friendship between Qatar and Mexico.
