Turkey’s Investment Office signs agriculture collaboration agreement with IFOS

(MENAFN) On Friday the Turkish Investment Office contracted a memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) on agricultural collaboration, specifically in Africa. The deal was inked by Burak Daglioglu, the head of the office, along with Yerlan Baidaulet, general director of the IOFS.

Daglioglu stated during the signing event that Turkey is one of the most committed associates of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Daglioglu emphasized that food supply was a vital matter globally, mentioning that OIC associates should entirely collaborate on this matter.

He added, as few nations have natural sources, like water and land, but deal with challenges with finance and technology, others have financial means with a shortage of natural resources.

He also mentioned, "these countries are not the same, so we believe there should be better cooperation and integration between member states."
