Qatar - Sheikha Moza opens new home of HEC Paris in Msheireb

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF), inaugurated the new building of HEC Paris in Qatar in Msheireb Downtown Doha yesterday.
The milestone event also celebrated the 10th anniversary of HEC Paris in Qatar, as well as the graduation of its 2020 and 2021 classes.
After inaugurating the building, H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser toured the facility along with H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation and an HEC Paris in Qatar alumna.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, said:“Our new home in Msheireb embodies the commitment of Qatar Foundation to HEC Paris and to its mission of impact and excellence in Qatar and the Gulf region. HEC Paris and its partners are helping build a knowledge-based, diversified, sustainable economy that is central to Qatar National Vision 2030, by training women and men to reach their potential as managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs and by creating and growing ethical and responsible companies that create a better future for all.” Dr. Eloïc Peyrache, Director and Dean of HEC Paris, was also present at the inauguration of the new state-of-the-art building equipped with the latest technology to empower the present and future leaders.

We thank H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Qatar Foundation for their support and trust which has spanned more than 10 years now and look forward to many years where we will help build the talent and leaders required to address our increasingly complex global economy,” said Dr. Peyrache.
H H Sheikha Moza also attended the graduation of HEC Paris in Qatar's graduating 2020 and 2021 classes under the slogan, 'Honoring the past, building the future'. The ceremony saw participants graduating from Executive MBA (EMBA) and Specialised Masters in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM), including H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who graduated with a master's degree from Class of 2020.
The graduation ceremony also highlighted HEC Paris in Qatar's 10-year journey in shaping excellence in Qatar's business community and the university's future plans.
Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan said,“Our graduates have gone on to be leaders of change, both here and on the international stage through their work in various public and private sector entities and by innovating new businesses and projects.”
