Arab Parliament Condemns Targeting of Civilians in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, by Terrorist Houthi Militia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, November 05, 2021, SPA -- The Arab Parliament condemned the targeting of innocent civilians in Jazan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today by the Houthi terrorist militia with a booby-trapped drone.
In a statement issued today, the Arab Parliament said the deliberate attacks by the Houthi militia against civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia, confirm that it is a terrorist group that commits war crimes against humanity and flagrantly violates international law and international humanitarian law.
The Arab Parliament called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities in confronting the practices of this terrorist group and stopping these repeated terrorist attacks that deliberately target civilians and the safety of civil aviation and threaten security, peace, and stability in the region and the world.
The Parliament also praised the Saudi Air Defense Forces, for intercepting and destroying the drone and expressed its full support for the Kingdom's measures to protect its security, stability, and territorial integrity.
