AMMAN, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Israeli jetfighters have carried out a number of airstrikes on the Syrian town of Palmyra in the central province of Homs.
Wednesday's Israeli airstrikes targeted a telecommunication tower and several other nearby sites, the Syrian news agency (SANA) reported.
It added the Israeli assault left one soldier dead and three others injured. (end)
