Turkey aspires to boost dried fruit exports to China

(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Sep. 29 a press release stated that Turkey aspires to raise dried fruit exports to China, one of its key target markets.

Ismail Gulle, chairman of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) noted that the Turkish production capacity, product quality, and product variety are appropriate for a sturdier influence in the Chinese market.)

Gulle said as cited in the press release: "additionally, as the middle class grows in China, the demand for quality products also increases in this country."

He further said: "we must take advantage of these opportunities and increase our interest in this important market."

The Istanbul Exporters' Associations arranged a virtual program on Sept. 28-29 in collaboration with TIM and Turkey’s Trade Ministry, gathering 14 Turkish exporting firms and 33 Chinese firms operating in this industry.
