(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, Sep. 29 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday announced that 14 new COVID-19 fatalities and 1,229 new cases were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In a daily brief on COVID-19 in the coastal enclave, the ministry said that a total of 1,886 new coronavirus patients have recovered, and 4,287 PCR tests were collected.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the strip reached 168,001, including 1,375 deaths, it added.
The report said 365 cases needed hospitalization and 244 were serious or critical.
