Gunman opens fire at university in Russian, killing over 8 people


(MENAFN) The Investigative Committee declared that a gunman opened fire at a university in the Russian city of Perm, killing more than eight people, and wounded others, local media reported.

The committee stated that it opened a criminal murder case after the attack in Perm State University.

The further declared that committee, a student on the ground of one of the buildings of Perm State National Research University opened fire at people around him.

It also said that eight people lost their lives and several others wounded in the incidents. The accurate casualty number and further details are being clarified.
