Chinese computing sector demonstrates positive expansion momentum


(MENAFN) The 2021 World Computing Conference, which kicked off in Changsha, capital of central Chinese Hunan Province on Friday, stated that the country’s whole computing power was classified second in the world last year, demonstrating that China’s computer sector is gaining positive expansion momentum.

According to the symposium, on the lately issued list of the top 500 global supercomputers, a number of 186 are from China.

The symposium, with the subject of "Calculating the World to Create A New Era," was arranged by the Hunan provincial government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Over 800 academics, experts and entrepreneurs from the country and overseas took art in the symposium.
