Royal Film Commission, Public Security Department team up to promote filmmaking


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 15 (Petra)-- The Royal Film Commission (RFC), on Thursday, and the Public Security Department (PSD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), in the presence of HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, the Regent, chairman of RFC's board, and PSD Director Major Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh.
The MoU aims at increasing joint coordination between the two parties in the process of facilitating the filming of audio-visual productions in the Kingdom, in addition to providing the necessary production services in filming locations.
The RFC and the PSD are seeking for developing the local audio-visual sector, promoting Jordan as a safe global destination for filming and attracting more film and television productions, due to its positive impact on reviving the national economy and encouraging cultural exchange.
